Day 5, Rovinj/Hum & Motovun/Rovinj
Enjoy this day traveling though the rolling hills of the Istrian Peninsula, and discover Hum, the smallest town in the world. Continue to the captivating town of Motovun surrounded with a medieval wall on the top of a steep hill.
We head to the Motovun forest where you will begin your hunting adventure for black and white truffles. You will be accompanied by the licensed truffle hunters and their specially trained dogs. Regardless of your luck in truffle hunting, you will have an opportunity to taste some of the best specialties made with truffles, such as cheese, biscuits, sausages, and many other interesting delicacies.
Spend the rest of your time in this picturesque town walking around the fortifications and enjoying the striking views of the vineyards and olive groves in the valley. There is no better way to savor the Istrian Peninsula than to enjoy lunch of authentic truffle specialties with a glass of locally grown Muscat of Monjan or the ruby-red Teran. Day 6, Rovinj/Krka Waterfalls/Split
Today we depart to Split. This will be a relaxing drive along the alluring Dalmatian coast. Our first stop is Krka National Park with fascinating waterfalls and pristine nature. Take a short cruise through the amazing canyons of Krka River. Here you can walk, swim and relax. Or take a boat ride to Skradinski buk for an authentic experience that you will always remember. The water is crystal clear and chilling. Warm up by the old water mill and sample delicious local specialties surrounded by beautiful nature.
Next, we stop at a vista near Primošten that offers the most amazing views of this charming town and the Adriatic coast. Hotel Park, Split, (B)
Day 7, Split
Visit the ancient cellars of the Diocletian’s Palace during your private walking tour of Split. Your expert local guide will take you through the narrow cobblestone streets the insider way. Visit the colorful open marked called Pazar, fish market with the best selection of sea food just caught by the local fishermen, a local butcher, cheese and prosciutto producers, wine and chocolate producers. This morning we take you by catamaran to the most seductive places on the Adriatic, the island of Hvar. Visit some of the trendiest boutiques, souvenir shops and cafes.
The evening is reserved for some enchanting moments. We’ll transfer you by private speedboat to the secluded lagoon. On the top of a cliff, overlooking a glorious Adriatic sunset, we’ve set a private table for two. It’s just the beginning of your sunset dinner! Day 10, Hvar/Biševo, Vis & Pakleni Islands/Hvar
Explore the Green and Blue caves on this unique boat excursion. Swim inside the Green cave and experience the emerald light show. Our boat ride continues to the picturesque hidden inlet where you can swim or just relax and sun bathe. Next, we take you to the world-renowned Blue Cave, whose ethereal silvery blue color is created by the sun as it bathes the inside of the cave through an opening in the roof and is reflected back by the sandy surface below. Our next stop is the island of Vis and the authentic fishing village of Komiža. Then, we head to Pakleni Islands. Day 11, Hvar/Korčula
This morning transfer to the island of Korčula. This beautiful town is known for its brightly colored red roofs which stand out against the fiercely blue sea. Spend this day at leisure. Discover the sandy or pebble beaches on the island. Or take an optional trip to Mljet a quiet, fascinating island with historic attractions. The Green Island has something for everyone, beautiful walk paths and bicycle tracks, hundreds of unrivaled bathing spots, and many beaches including Saplunara beach and many more attractions like the unavoidable Ulysses Cave. Day 14, Dubrovnik
