Day 2: Zagreb
Discover the best of Zagreb on an interesting biking tour. Discover it’s baroque-style mansions and baronial residences. In the company of your local expert, bike to the Upper Town, and to Lotrščak Tower and inhale this most beautiful view of the city. Explore this city’s gorgeous parks and learn about it’s history and culture. Find out where locals hang out for best coffee and traditional specialties. Hotel Esplanade, Zagreb, (B)
Day 3: Zagreb/Plitvice/Split
Transfer to Split by car and driver with a stop in Pltivice Lakes National Park. Discover Plitvice Lakes National Park – the unique oasis of rare natural beauty. It is one of Europe’s most dazzling nature reserve parks, and was truly created by nature. The park consists of 16 connecting lakes and sport unique cascades of murmuring waterfalls. Plitvice Lakes National Park was recognized and protected by UNESCO as part of the world’s natural heritage in 1979. Take a boat ride across the largest of the lakes, and experience a unique perspective of nature: the lake is rife with crystal clear emerald water and fringed with bubbly white waterfalls! Day 4: Split/Ciovo Island/Split
Reserve this day for a full day kayaking adventure. Čiovo is a small island very close to the charming town of Trogir and not far away from Split. In the company of your expert local guide, start paddling from one of Marjan peninsula beaches and head across the Čiovo channel. Enjoy amazing views of Split and the nearby islands of Brač and Šolta. Spend a day swimming and snorkeling in secluded coves. Le Méridien Lav, Split, (B)
Day 5: Split/Hvar
This morning we will ferry over to the island of Hvar. After a short
scenic drive we arrive to Hvar, that has one of the first communal theaters in Europe, built in 1612, called the Arsenal. There is also the famous “Tvrdalj” Palace of Petar Hektorović, not to be missed. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring this charming town on your own, enjoying the magical views of the neighboring islands or lounging on any of Hvar’s beautiful beaches. Day 6: Hvar/Biševo/Hvar
Visit the natural phenomena, Blue Cave on Biševo Island, best known natural beauty spot on the Adriatic. You will have enough free time for lunch and to relax on the beach. Afterwards we set our boat ride around the southern side of the island and stop briefly in the unique bay of Stiniva. Take a swim in this crystal clear water and relax on its famous beach. Afterwards we reach the Green Cave, spacious and marvelous cave where you can take beautiful pictures and take a swim. Hotel Amfora, Hvar, (B)
Day 7: Hvar/Dubrovnik
Catamaran transfer to Dubrovnik. Afternoon at leisure. Drenched in sparkling sunshine and rife with mild Mediterranean breezes, Dubrovnik is a lush region of mysterious coves, forested islands and idyllic beaches. You will marvel at the limestone bricks of the walled Old City which gleam like marble in the moonlight. With it’s sharp detailing and unique architecture, its many quaint buildings showcase an artistic heritage depicting a vast landscape of lovely sea, sky and hills. Hotel Excelsior, Dubrovnik, (B)
Day 8: Dubrovnik/Konavle/Dubrovnik
Experience the beauty of the Konavle region near Dubrovnik on a half day biking excursion. Discover the small village roads that run across the lively Konavle region. The trail takes us through orchards, cornfields, vineyards, blueberry fields… We also cross the bridges of Ljuta and Konavočica rivers. The main route is easy to cycle on, quite flat with just few short climbs. More experience cyclists can arrange more challenging route with their tour guide upon meeting. Occasional short breaks are made for being acquainted with the historical and natural characteristics of the Konavle region (like visit to Franciscan monastery, old mill in Ljuta village, and waterfalls of river Ljuta). During our breaks, we will refresh ourselves with snack and water. Taking small village roads, we return to Gruda at Dubrovnik wine cellars, where guests can taste and buy famous wines produced from local grapes. Hotel Excelsior, Dubrovnik, (B)
Day 9: Depart Dubrovnik
