Start with the three nights in the Dalmatian town of Split. Explore Split and its countryside by joining the Game of Thrones full day private sightseeing tour. Meet your local expert guide, a Split native and a passionate Game of Thrones fan, who will reveal to you all the fascinating filming locations from you favorite show. You will visit a small village of Zrnovnica (the battlefield where Daario Naharis defeated The Champion of Meereen), located only about fifteen minutes from Split town.
Discover the fictional slave-trading land of Meereen, the fortress of Klis which holds a very significant role in the history of Croatia. Learn all about the real life “Game of Thrones” that happened here during the Ottoman Empire attacks. Admire this off the beaten path location that offers some of the most amazing views of Bosnia and Herzegovina on one side, and the beautiful town of Split with its lofty Palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, on the other side. And to make this a truly a one-of-a-kind experience, we’ll take you to the the top of the fort to the location used by HBO which has not yet been screened.
Next, we welcome you to King’s Landing as you arrive to Dubrovnik. Spend three nights in the most beautiful city on the Adriatic coast. Meet your expert guide and a local Game of Thrones fan as you start the Game of Thrones full day excursion. First, visit the Lovrijenac Fort, a symbol of the city’s survival. The Latin inscription above the gate translates as “You shall not sell your freedom for all the gold in the world”. Lovrijenac Fort doubles as the Red Keep and the water below served for the pivotal battle of Blackwater Bay. Next, in the company of your driver and an a guide, visit the Arboretum Botanical Gardens in Trsteno, the final filming location where you will certainly recognize the famous baroque staircase that leads from the Jesuit Church of St Ignatious to Gundulic Square.

Day 2: Split
This day is reserved for a unique experience of Split and its nearby countryside as you join a full day Game of Thrones excursion. The Game of Thrones Tour includes visits to four sights around Dalmatia plus a traditional dining experience. Start exploring the Game of Thrones sets within the walls of the 1700-year-old Diocletian’s Palace in the heart of Split. You’ll be passing through the same narrow walkways as Daenarys. Retrace the steps of Daenarys Targaryen high above Split at the Klis Fortress. Built into a rocky ridge, the fortress overlooks all of Split, the Adriatic Sea and nearby islands. It is the perfect place to be at sunset. Next, you’ll visit a 700 years old still-operational historic water mill on the Zrnovnica river frequented by Daenarys’ army of Unsullied and her slave girl, Missandei. At the end of the tour, you’ll be treated to a traditional Croatian meal under the trees and beside the river at the water mill. Marmont, Split, (B)
Day 3: Split
Spend this day exploring Split and the nearby towns and islands according to your interests. Perhaps take a full day excursion to Plitvice Lakes or Krka National Parks. Another wonderful option is exploring Blue and Green Caves from Split on a boat excursion. Or visit any Dalmatian islands such as Hvar, Vis, Solta or Brac. Marmont, Split(B)
Day 4: Split/Dubrovnik

Day 5: Dubrovnik
Experience Dubrovnik from a unique perspective and join a Game of Thrones private excursion. Climb the old city walls that were attacked by the Baratheons in the first series, and then explore Lovrijenac Fortress, the beautiful XI century castle that features heavily in many of the Game of Thrones battle scenes. View the fictional Blackwater Bay from the fort’s impressive vantage point, and imagine the bloody Battle of Blackwater taking place outside of its walls.
In addition to the fortress, city walls and streets, your will be introduced to several city parks that were used to film countryside scenes. Next, our expert local guide and a driver take you to see another great filming location, one of the oldest arboretums in Croatia. Used as the gardens of King’s Landing palace during the third Game of Thrones series, Trsteno is a key filming site as well as the home of thousands of exotic plants, trees and shrubs. Day 6: Dubrovnik
